How to use this analysis
Choose a movement you want to understand and compare its shape with the historical matches. Similar-looking segments can come from different market conditions, so inspect the context as well as the chart.
Study what happened after every match, including examples that moved in opposite directions. Historical pattern matching is a comparison of price paths; it is different from measuring statistical correlation between two assets.
Treat the following movements as historical observations, not a forecast or a probability of profit. Combine the comparison with wave structure or SMC, and return to check how the current movement develops.
